She was born extremely preterm with Extremely Low Birth Weight (ELBW) and is suffering from Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS). She is currently admitted in NICU under the care of Dr. Vinay Hanamesh Joshi.
Her father works as a helper (casual labourer) earning an annual income of only ₹1,40,000/- to support a family of 3 dependents. The total estimated cost for her NICU hospital stay, investigations, and life-saving medications is ₹2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand only).
The parents are financially exhausted and have borrowed from all possible sources. The hospital's Medical Social Service Department has evaluated the case as highly deserving of emergency financial assistance.
