Dhairyavirsingh Divyajitsinh Vaghela is an energetic 5-year-old boy fighting a silent, life-threatening genetic blood disorder: Severe Thalassemia Major.
From the tender age of 7 months, Dhairyavirsingh has been dependent on regular, painful blood transfusions to maintain his hemoglobin levels and survive. Transfusions, however, are not a permanent solution and carry long-term organ damage risks.
The only curative treatment for his condition is a Bone Marrow Transplant (B.M.T.). After comprehensive HLA typing, his mother, Aanchalba (29 years), was found to be a haploidentical donor match, offering a pathway to save his life.
He was admitted to the hospital on 6th July 2026, and his BMT procedure is scheduled to take place on 19th July 2026 under the care of Dr. Deepa Trivedi at the BMT Center. Post-transplant, he will require critical rest and monitoring for at least one year.
The total estimated cost for the transplant, pre-operative preparation, and post-operative intensive care is INR 15,00,000/-. Dhairyavirsingh's family is struggling to cover this life-saving procedure and humbly appeals to your kindness.
